Today was one of those rough days in this profession. I’m grateful that these days are much fewer and farther between this year than last. Tomorrow, we start anew.

All is well with the baby as of today’s appointment. Our anatomy scan is scheduled for next month. 🥰

Time to start picking out a name. 🥹

Helping out this morning with Galaxy’s Amazing Race Algebra review for 8th graders! I’m most excited to watch the students struggle through their “speed bump” — having to sit in complete silence for 3 minutes. A challenge that I’m sure feels impossible for 8th graders 😂

As a new mom (and teacher when it’s not summer) I feel my new car decal is perfect. 😂

Aubrey and I both spend a lot of our summer napping. I’m not mad about it. 🥰

I’m feeling energized to return to the classroom after the break this summer, but I’m going to miss my baby more than I can express. Being a working mom is difficult, but I know I have to do it to provide. Praying to God for some comfort. 😭🙏🏻
