...but they keep telling me I need to submit more. I've called so many times, even spoken to the same customer service rep twice! Every time they tell me someone will get back to me in 7-10 business days. NOPE. Filed two complaints...no word. Then they tell me they're closing...

...my claim because of inactivity. I call, the customer serv rep says send an email asking it to be reopened because all of the docs have been submitted. I do. NO WORD.

Finally, I call again today (2 months after that email), and they tell me nothing has moved. The claim was closed. Again, lied to by Assurant. Rep tells me she will make a note and someone will call me. No way I can go with that, so I ask for a supervisor...

No supervisor available, so as soon as one is available, they'll call me. No way I can believe a word Assurant is saying. I told her I'll wait. So, here I am waiting on the phone. Chase - this is how you lose customers, and you're raising the annual fee?! What an injustice.

You won't believe this - I've been on the phone for an hour, waiting to talk with a supervisor, and the @assurant customer service rep hung up on me!!!!
