Jon Simons and I wrote a commentary on a fascinating article on hippocampal activity as a function of memory age, now in Cognitive Neurosci by Tallman et al. We highlight the importance of episodically rich tasks to inform memory consolidation theories tinyurl.com/pcubudwn

On the 22nd of July, almost 2 years after finishing my master’s degree Cardiff University, I finally graduated with an MSc in Neuroimaging along with the prize for the ‘Best Overall Performance’. It was lovely to spend the day celebrating with family and friends.

The paracingulate sulcus is a fascinating brain structure, demonstrating individual variability that has been linked with reality monitoring ability & hallucinations. We've updated our paracingulate sulcus measurement protocol & made it freely available: doi.org/10.17863/CAM.1…

Then we've got Sam answering how do we even know out memories are real?? She's studying this by looking at when it goes wrong - hallucinations 🤯 - through her PhD in Jon Simons lab in Dept of Psychology
