Today’s high point at the garden centre “we need a climber for the end wall” LO “what about a ladder?” 😁 low-point was friend and her son beating a retreat from a visit due to disregulation resulting in anger and rudeness. Highs and lows.

Being smart and funny is so effortless for some people. Bastard. Funny bastard 😢😁

Shame is genuinely toxic. In this house we call it “the enemy”. Tonight LO has been wildly disregulated because something, almost certainly accidental, happened with the dog and he can’t cope with the feelings. 2nd night in a row (different cause). Bastard shame.

Just talking to my twitter friend and realised 90% of my stress isn’t dealing with the hard stuff in the ‘now’ it’s my absolute inability not to take the now and assume the worst about the future.

Epic bedtime last night. Destruction, rage, hitting, abuse, threats and not a sodding clue why. Now we have to spend the day not planning for the night and just enjoying it.

They say it only takes one good teacher, but the reverse is true too and so each year we cross our fingers. We've been blessed so far with school who have got it 97.5% right. Even better to meet next year's teacher who's an adoptive mum of siblings. Hurrah!!!
