Today in #Y3 we made our own Stonehenge and used torches to track shadow changes throughout the day, as well as reenacting the Summer Solstice alignment.

#Y1 We are SO proud of our Year 5/6 children who came first in the Poulton Schools Athletics Competition! They have trained really hard and today, showed amazing team spirit throughout the whole afternoon. We look forward to the finals after half term! 🏆🤩 Wyre & Fylde School Sports Partnership

#Y1 This morning in maths we used different manipulatives to make 20 and in English, we looked at whether we add -s or -es to singular words to make them plural! The children enjoyed discussing the rule with their partner. ☺️

#Y1 In English, the children innovated the story No-Bot - changing the robot and what body part he/she loses. We then created a story map to help us retell it orally. Today the children finished their INDEPENDENT write and I’m blown away with the quality and content! ⭐️😁
