We’ve all been thinking about VE Day this week! You might have some connections to people who helped in the war effort that you want to share with us as part of this week’s year 3 challenge! 🇬🇧😊

My great, great Uncle Evan went to war in 1939 but unfortunately he didn’t return home. His remains were eventually found by two men with a metal detector in 2003 who identified him by his dog tag! He had a funeral with full military honours almost 60 years after he died 😊🇬🇧🎖

Dylan made this storage box a few weeks ago with his Dad from a wood pallet @RayerHead Miss Ryan. Now to write the instructions Melissa Norton 😆 They measured the wood; cut it to size; then nailed the wood together. On top is his RSPB bug home 😀 #Homeschooling2020
