A new to Lead Mine Elementary staff member who is assisting 2nd grade took a quick little field trip this morning and bought us birthday people some fun things! Elizabeth you spread so much joy, thank you for being you and for making us feel celebrated today!

Today we got to celebrate our accomplishments! Every single student grew in every MCLASS probe, and their growth is transferring to their reading and writing as well! I am so proud of these kiddos, and today we celebrated with a hot chocolate party 🎉

On this snow weekend, I decided to redo my stairs. Word to the wise: If you ever find yourself wanting to tackle this project, do not. Pay someone to do it. But not me, I will never be doing this again.

What a fun Monday over here in 2nd grade! We planted seeds and did an experiment to learn more about how rain works!

These smarties worked together today to make skits of the new fable we are reading in EL Education! We may have some future actors and actresses in this class!

Retelling fables but make it fun! Students painted their own settings, made their own puppets, and used their creations to act out The Ant and the Grasshopper! Thanks for the inspo Jenna Gray!

I am so excited to announce that I have accepted a position at 15Five as a sales development representative! This has been an incredibly bittersweet decision to step away from all that I have ever known, but I am absolutely thrilled for this new journey!
