First day with my class tomorrow! This is a feeling I’ve not felt before. It’s a mixture of all sorts of emotions. Excited, nervous, overwhelmed, scared! But mostly shock that the day I’ve been waiting for is FINALLY here!! 🎉😍

Does anyone on here use colourful semantics at school and can give me some advice on how to use it effectively to help my SEND/WT children? I already use the cards to hel build a sentence and a grid for their books but I need more!! Mr T's NQT/ECT support 🙋🏻‍♂️ 😊

Last week before 2 weeks off!! The workload this term has been immense! Parents evening has been had already, uploading endless amounts of data from baseline assessments!! I’m ready for a break!! Please may this week go quick 🙏

Is that summer over already? Surely not! I am prepared but feel so unprepared! Anyone else the same?

A member of my inclusion team mentioned in a parent meeting this afternoon that kids go through a honeymoon period in their new classes… couldn’t be more true and 4 days into the new term and it’s gone already!
