A busy week in the Health and Food department with practical Cookery prelims underway. Lots of great work to be seen. Well done to all those who have taken part. The final batch of prelims will take place next week.

We have the finaal round of Practical Cookery prelims for our National 5 pupils today. Some beautiful dishes have been created over the last 2 weeks Well done!

Royal Highland Show 2025 💚💜 Great day out for our senior pupils to experience everything Scotland has to offer, including cooking demonstrations, horse jumping, food tasting, lots of animals and plenty more! Lots of happy faces & plenty of sun ☀️

Bakery pupils are beginning to learn about the skill of bread making in their new unit! Well done in making your first set of rolls 🥖💜💚

S3 HFT done fantastic today!!

S3 HFT/ELC girls have been learning about feeding & weaning, so today we introduced a bit of sensory testing of different baby food options! We also learnt about choking in children, how to prevent it and how to help in that situation if they were working in childcare 💚💜
