Today, P4A were introduced to their new topic - the Romans! This afternoon we discussed some interesting facts about the Romans and created a poster to display these. We also included what we would like to learn as part of this topic and what fun activities we would like to do!🏛️

This morning, as part of Health and Wellbeing, P4A continued looking at the Zones of Regulation. Today we focused on the behaviours we may display when in each of the zones. We additionally had some great discussions about expected and unexpected behaviours. Well done P4A😊👏🏻

P4A have been hard at work in preparation for their upcoming class assembly. Here is a sneak peek of our names written in Mandarin - can you guess our focus for the assembly?🤔🐉🀄️

This morning, we were learning about the Roman uniform worn in battle. We looked at the names of each of the clothing items and discussed the practicality of these. In groups, we then created our own Roman inspired uniforms - we love getting creative in P4A! 😃👏🏻

P4A had so much fun meeting Joe, the Roman soldier today! We enjoyed learning about the life of a Roman soldier, and exploring the armour they wore and the equipment they used in battle. We even created our own Roman army and marched in unison like real soldiers!🏛️The Antonine Guard

We are looking forward to welcoming parents/carers to our Health and Wellbeing Showcase on Thursday 9th Feb between 6.30 and 7.30pm. We will share learning, and a market place will take place in the hall promoting different support agencies, clubs, and services.

During Numeracy today, P4A were introduced to a new topic - multiplication. We focused on the arrays strategy and worked through a variety of active tasks to practise this. We used beads, Lego, cubes and play-doh to help us answer multiplication questions. Great work everyone👍🏽😄

As part of World Book Day, P4A were asked to create a door display of their favourite book. The class favourite was ‘Gangsta Granny’ - everyone worked hard to creatively bring the book to life on our door!🚪👵🏼SPSLovestoRead

P4A celebrated World Book Day through lots of active tasks. We played guess the character, charades and made our own life size characters too. This afternoon, we created a ‘balloon bouquet’ of each of our favourite books to showcase our love for reading in class🎈📚❤️ SPSLovestoRead
