Some finished DoW paintings from our lesson earlier this week.

Today, p4 did a lesson on the synagogue. We looked at two special items - a menorah candle and torah scroll. As the menorah candle symbolises hope, we explored the meaning of hope and even wrote down some of our own hopes. P4 were fantastic! #pgde #strath Broomhill Primary School

In p4b we created Rob the Robot. 🤖 We used Rob today for our lesson on answering literal questions. Robots like Rob like literal questions, where they can find the answer directly from text. This helped us understand literal q’s more! Thanks Rob 🤖 #strathpgde Broomhill Primary School

Today we were learning about shipyards, specifically focussing on John Brown’s shipyard. For our task P4B worked in teams to create their own mini ships with paper plates, cups, tinfoil and spoons. They did such a good job. 🛳️🛳️ #strathpgde

Fun week with P7. We looked the rock cycle today, using starburst helped explain this process! We then used our analytical skills to compare characteristics, guessing which type of rocks we had! Earlier this week we also did some learning on different beliefs in Scotland 🙂
