A year today I found out where I would be going for my first placement - I remember that was the moment that becoming a teacher finally felt real. After a year of hard work and (many) tears I am now a staff member in that same school completing my probationary year🥹 full circle

I honestly can’t believe that I am 6 weeks into my probationary year! What a wonderful experience it has been building positive relationships with all the amazing wee learners in my class🩷 (still have moments where I forget that I’m actually in charge of a class🤣🤣🤣)

My class surprised me with being chosen as pupil of the day. They were so excited for compliments time and even nominated a classmate to act as my teacher. My heart is so full and I am always in awe of the amazing, kind and caring class that I have the privilege of teaching🤍

Well done to all probationer teachers for making it to the October week. Term one ✅ take some time and spend the holiday with friends and families. Recharge for the next term!
