Last week my S1 classes looked at the importance of Remembrance Day and we discussed the impact of the war on their local community. They also got creative and produced some excellent art work #LestWeForget

My S1s have been learning revision skills early and practiced today on their desks using markers for their Wars of Independence assessment next week. What a great way to keep pupils motivated and engaged 👏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🖍

Pupils have spent some time looking at the conflict between Ukraine and Russia and have produced some excellent work which we have used to great a display showing support for Ukraine in the social subjects department 🇺🇦

Spent some time at the weekend visiting New Cumnock’s Covenanter Monument. Some amazing local heritage right on the door step 🌿🪨🍂
