Oh, the places we’ll go! We combined Dr. Seuss, opinion writing, and maps units to write about where we want to go on vacation. Ss explored locations using Google Earth, wrote an opinion piece, & searched online for images to use with a green screen app. We’re off and away! ✈️🌎

June 17 ➡️ August 29; the summer flew by but I am refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for my newest group of little learners🐻💚

Since the first day of school I’ve simply asked Ss “what do we know about the number...” It’s amazing to see how much their math brains have grown already! So many more ideas on day 15 than day 1 🤗 It’s not fancy, but it leads amazing conversations 👍🏻

Thanks Kimberly Maduzia and our 5th grade buddies for helping us log in to (and explore) the laptops for the first time!

The Primary Wing came to sleigh all day, but especially at the Holiday Sing 🎶 🛷

Can't wait to read these books to kids together - in person! - again soon! But this was a fun project in the meantime :)

If we can’t go to the zoo, at least Mrs. Dubinski can bring the zoo to us!
