Room on the Broom (with a subitising twist) ✨ Children have worked with a 5-frame to show who is on the broom and how much space there is left! 🐱🐶🦅🐸 There has been some amazing mathematical vocabulary and brilliant storytelling too! I love it and so do the children 🙌🏻 #eyfs

Introducing… peg doll football ⚽️ based on the favourite teams of the children in my class Liverpool FC and Leeds United ❤️💙 They used strategising skills to plan player positions and moves alongside subitising to keep track of score! The talk that came from this too was just brilliant ✨
