Before calling for a roll back on Christmas plans please remember why there are so many people so desperate to see each other. Covid is not the only thing that kills, many people have good reason to believe they have not got many Christmas’s left and they want this one.

Last year Summer when we knew less about how to treat Covid, didn’t have a vaccine, and hadn’t successfully rolled it out we were allowed to travel far more freely. What has changed so much that it is now so lethal to go to countries where things are being sensibly handled?
