Stream over for the night, just a short one swapping from sqlc to bob ORM. Something about a generated ORM fits me more then writing raw queries. The dev flow just seems a little easier. One reason is db first ORM does type validations on your queries.

Tonight is the night of doing the equation to tree algorithm. Hopefully it goes well, but probably not. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic

Ok, new equation system is working, time to unbreak some of the old saving and loading systems. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic

Hard part of our service is now complete, back to doing the easy stuff. Maybe we can get to doing some designs, soon. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic

I hope this isn't a hot take but if your first public project/app you are building is a project template or a skills course you better have a lot of experience on your resume and/or active production users of your template.

More authentication work before bed. Thanks to a chatter I realized I was streaming in 720p this whole time, but now its set to 1080p like it should be. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic

Streamed for a few hours today with some good progress and conversations. Was able to set up Valkey pretty easily for my login and session tokens. So logging in locally is all complete. Ended by raiding Charlie Coppinger #buildinginpublic twitch.tv/miniscruff

Continuing my shared calculator app work. Lets see how much I can get done in a few hours. Come ask your Go questions, or anything else really. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic

Trying to get my app deployed on AWS via pulumi has been harder then I wanted, but I don't think its there fault, I just think there is a lot to learn when using AWS.

Day stream of open source work then maybe starting my journey undoing webauthn for plain oauth, just not quite working out for me. twitch.tv/miniscruff #buildinpublic #opensource

Is there an easy way for an engineer to meet a designer and/or vice versa? Its not that I couldn't build an app solo, its that it would look and feel terribly. But it would work fine.

github.com/miniscruff/vad… Initial release of my validation library is up. Going to add some badges and a contributing guide and call it a day. Not too many validations built in yet but enough to get started I think.

github.com/miniscruff/vad… and now I have a contributing guide. Should be set for a little while. #opensource #golang #github

Is there like a cheap service, or like, a person, who will help promote a library or thing I built. Its like, I can build stuff, but actually promoting it is an entirely different skill set I do not possess. #buildinpublic #opensource
