Year 4 were the first of our classes to receive First Aid training from Mini First Aid (High Peak) today. Great sessions teaching invaluable life-saving skills! All other year groups will complete their training next week.

Such a fun day spent with Year 9 at St Thomas More Buxton The children now have the skills needed to deal with a range of emergencies and potentially save a life!💚 They were all AMAZING and a real pleasure to teach!

We’ve learnt how to ring 999 in an emergency and ask for help! We pretended to be the caller and the emergency services answering the call. We know we need to explain what’s happened and where we are so the ambulance knows where to go. We were very confident. #Y1-2 #FIRSTAID
