Next up is Synchrotron SESAME and their mug submitted by @M3wamleh. SESAME Aims to promote peace between Middle Eastern countries, choosing Jordan as it was then the only country that maintained diplomatic relations with all the founding members. it has a circumference of 133 metres.
Back to European donuts we have the European Synchrotron and their self submitted mug. ESRF is a 4th gen 6 GeV synchrotron with an 844 metre circumference ring and forty tangential beamlines. It also have some very nice views.
Our penultimate competitor is Synchrotron SOLEIL and their self submitted mug. The name SOLEIL is a backronym for Source optimisée de lumière d’énergie intermédiaire du LURE (LURE optimised intermediary energy light source)... Wow. It has a circumference of 354 metres.
Our final competitor is Sincrotró ALBA💡 and their mug submitted by Elizabeth Shotton. ALBA means sunrise in Catalan/Spanish. It's a third-generation 3GeV synchrotron light source in Barcelona housing 8 beamlines. it has a circumference of 270 metres.
