No system and no leader can satisfy the human soul. The well from which we drink should not be a captivating preacher or a certain kind of worship experience. Nothing and no one can represent God accurately except by a likeness to Jesus Christ.

Your life is not a series of random events. Your family background, education, and life experiences—even the most painful ones—all equip you to do some work that no one else can do (Eph 2.10).

Prayer is how the loves of our heart are re-ordered so we love God first and everything else second.

So often, rather than suffer involvement with messy injustices and corrupt systems, we choose the quiet/easy way, and sin against Justice himself rather than allow the suffering of others and the injustices they live with daily to alter our schedules, comfort level, & tidy lives.

We damage the dignity of others when we refuse to wait for them – whether they need to tie their own shoes or they are struggling to find words for the indescribable.  We bestow honor on another when we consider him or her worth waiting for.

Christianity does not look like praying and singing and giving money while ignoring the screams, unspeakable suffering, filth, and death of others. Christianity is not calling others *them*—somehow unlike us, not human, deserving of their suffering.

Hey NPR I'm wondering if you might consider the reality that you have some loyal listeners who do not support abortion. How could you possibly be more reflective, inclusive, willing to engage both sides, and help us find a way to talk about this productively?

In our little circumstances day by day we need Christ’s help. But all we need in Christ, we shall find in Christ. So today and always,let us fill our minds with Him, learning of Him, learning from Him, worshipping Him. God of God, Light of Light: our Lord, our Saviour, our King.

So much disagreement among Christians on the way things ought to be. But above all the clamoring voices, our God has surely spoken. And as we engage in controversy, as we express our differences, when unbelievers watch us argue, will they see that we love one another? Good night.
