In line with this Hon. Vera Kamtukule, Ministry of Labour emphasized that these meetings are essential because "without vibrant industries in our countries we cannot create jobs in the region." As such it is key for the Ministers to discuss to promotion of pro-employment policies.

Vera Kamtukule: As a ministry, we are open to working with WIN not only to support #women in #media, but also newsmakers. Women and men in politics face the same challenges as those in the media and we need to join efforts to end sexual harassment.
