That is a hellish sore one but I’m not sure we deserved to win tonight. Out on our feet, and Ancelotti’s tactics were spot on and his instructions carried out perfectly. Am concerned for the fans who were caught up in that mess earlier, though.

The scenes of all those people out on the streets for the bus parade have really gladdened my heart. So proud. Thank you to every one of you.

I’m really going to miss Sadio. He was critical to our success over the past few seasons. Always on the offensive and hardly ever injured. Can’t believe we’re selling him for so little. I thought we were good at transfers these days.

Well, that was crap. Second half far better but in general lots of worrying signs that leaders in the team are letting their heads drop when things don’t go to plan.

I just don’t understand it at all. Feels like the beginning of the end of the Klopp era. I really hope it isn’t. This summer will be the most important in years.

If Lavia prefers a big pile of cash to put his feet up and warm the bench at Chelsea instead of coming to a club where he could become a world great then that shows the character of the man. Better off without. Get someone willing to run through walls for this club instead.

Either automate VAR to make it fair to all clubs by taking away the possibility of bias by officials or bin it altogether. This can’t go on.
