It's #WorldWetlandsDay! No grand vistas of peatlands from me; let's give some love to our ditches instead. Often ignored, but they can be beautiful and (sometimes) biodiverse; lines of wilder land in managed landscapes, and they are there in Convention on Wetlands if you read closely.
