Day 36 to Buffalo, NY! 106 miles, 3300 up, 3700 down, max temp 64F. Brisk riding along the wineries and orchards of Lake Erie! PA and NY drivers could be a little less agro 🙄 Thank you to Ahia Bryan (and Achi Bets in spirit) for coming down from Toronto to get some local fare!

Welp looks like a forced rest/zero day due to bad rain 🌧️! A chance to go around Buffalo a little bit

Have to forgo the Finger Lakes because of today's zero day, but made up for it with an impromptu trip to Niagara Falls!

Looks like today is one of patience and storm avoidance. Had to seek shelter before even completing five miles. Thanks again to meteorologist Tim!

Day 38 to Syracuse, NY! 86 miles, 3200 up, 3100 down, max temp 70F. Unf another day of cold rain especially with the downpour in the last hour 😕 I'm not saying I want to rush this journey but 🐉 is hoping for dryer conditions! Neat riding along parts of the Erie Canal though!

Day 39 to Little Falls, NY! 81 miles, 3000 up, 3000 down, max temp 68F. Wet but thankfully not as wet as yesterday! Three more riding days 🤞and mom flies into Albany tomorrow! Happy birthday to my sister, Korea time (where she is)!

Day 40 to Albany, NY! 81 miles, 2100 up, 2100 down, max temp 67F. A cold but clear and eventually sunny day! Nice riding along that Erie Canalway Trail to the state capital. Two more days but doozies bc I forgot how hilly MA can be 😅
