As part of the The Pandemic Fund project, WHO Ghana is supporting AFENETAfrica train 5 advanced epidemiology residents to boost Ghana’s pandemic preparedness. Faculty from AFENETAfrica & WHO Ghana held a session with trainees to orient them on the training package & expectations.

Thanks to funding from The Pandemic Fund, we’re working with #GiveBloodGhana to train their staff on blood safety standards. This capacity-building effort is part of Ghana’s journey toward safer transfusions, stronger health security and more resilient blood systems.

This will support the #NCD eTracker, enabling facilities to capture real-time data & improve care for people living with diabetes, hypertension & other NCDs.

Vaccination saves lives. Reduction in Measles morbidity and mortality in Ghana is an example at arm’s length to remind us. HPV vaccine has a huge role to play in the reduction of cervical cancer. Get your 9 to 14 year old girl child vaccinated.
