Thanks, Tom. We are always striving to ensure our members’ workplaces are safe which, in turn, usually leads to a calm and productive learning environment for their pupils.

It was an honour to represent our ⁦STUC⁩ award recipient, William Reynolds, at today’s reception with ⁦First Minister⁩. I was able to highlight the vital role that William (and many of our other Reps) play in highlighting violent and abusive behaviour in schools.

It was a privilege to chat to Leanne for our podcast; her passion for education shines through, as does her commitment to fairness and transparency. She will not be giving up the fight against the cuts proposed by Glasgow City Council and we will be there alongside her!
