Catering staff working for Rail Gourmet on Eurostar trains are being drastically underpaid compared to their colleagues employed directly by Eurostar.

Report also finds that Edinburgh-London is the third busiest route in Europe with 22,000+ flights p.a. despite a fast & frequent rail alternative.

No concerted action by Scottish Government to shift travel from air to rail on this route. Is it any surprise that they're failing on #climate ?

Peak time fares is a tax on workers and also a barrier to more people choosing the train & why its temporary removal was so welcome. Now Scottish Labour ASLEF Scotland RMT Scotland TSSA Scotland Unite Scotland STUC are calling for this move to be made permanent

Our #STUC24 has passed an emergency motion, condemning the Scottish Government for stealing £38 million allocated for enhanced sick pay, maternity and paternity pay for social care workers.
