Very excited to be seeing The Ocean at the End of the Lane at the Lowry on Christmas Eve. It feels like forever since we saw it in the Dorfman. It’s also our first time at The Lowry since moving up to Manchester and having a baby. An afternoon to ourselves thanks to grandparents babysitting!

Baby Sammie is at home with the Grandparents, so we’re having a Christmas Eve bottomless cocktail brunch at Turtle Bay, followed by a matinee of The Ocean at the End of the Lane at The Lowry. This can only go well 🤣

Well 2022 has certainly been a hell of a year for Me and Emily. I got a new job and in April we left London to move to Manchester. In September our wonderful baby Samara was born. Now we are buying a house out in Westhoughton, which is in between Bolton and Wigan. Phew!

Not every job that you quote for ends up happening, but today I drew up a pretty crazy stage for a client and I really would love to see this one built. A big, fiddly, multi level stage using loadsa deck in loadsa shapes and sizes - a Steeldeck Rentals rentals speciality!

Buying a house should not be as stressful as estate agents and solicitors somehow manage to make it. In no other business is it acceptable to work at the pace of the slowest person and not set any deadlines.

In the local Spoons, drinking the unlimited coffees, awaiting a call from the estate agents to say I can collect keys. I’d have started on the beers if I didn’t have the car with me 😂
