The #footballindex scandal appears complicated but is actually very straightforward. All this Government have to do is convince me that Gambling Commission provided Betindex a licence for a gambling product. Difficult when I have written evidence that the GC KC provided advice that it was
I have run out of patience keeping this secret Lucy Rigby KC MP HM Treasury here is Financial Conduct Authority being asked, specific to the acquisition of a sports spread bet company, questions about regulation. Their response to CMA (a non-ministerial government body) is that...
They should have taken immediate enforcement action Lucy Rigby KC MP not let £10s of Millions more be deposited into an unregulated derivative trading platform that, as a ponzi, was doomed to fail. This is going to court and as a KC you must see that I am going to won this!
How many times is Financial Conduct Authority mentioned in the report? 213 times. Why are they mentioned? Because of the regulation of sports spread bets? Who regulates sports spread bets Lucy Rigby KC MP Lisa Nandy MP Fiona Twycross ? Financial Conduct Authority Who doesn't regulate spread bets? Gambling Commission
Just seen that Emily Shepperd has resigned as Financial Conduct Authority COO. Here she is writing to Barbara Keeley MP in 2022 stating that #footballindex was not an Article 85 investment Lucy Rigby KC MP which I can now prove is a lie. Maybe she signed a settlement agreement like Sean Martin did?
Based on the latest FOI I have just received regarding #footballindex I really do think it's time you called me in for a meeting Department for Culture, Media and Sport Lisa Nandy MP Fiona Twycross my diary is pretty clear!!
We're all FI Group Action - #footballindex
#footballindex victims almost all men under 50 Fiona Twycross who were given false hope by your colleagues that action would be taken. Just more lies to get into power. Lucky you haven't got blood on your hands
I have always maintained that Gambling Commission should never have licenced #footballindex and that there was enough info before the platform started in Oct 2015 that a diligent regulator should have picked up on Fiona Twycross and 1 employee agrees with me.
and despite these concerns it was signed off as the company was given "general advice" despite the financial terminology used. And all Gambling Commission did was to get the operator to change the website after they had legal advice they had licenced a derivative product and a market!!
When you consider this very curt response to Tom Morrison MP of Liberal Democrats from Fiona Twycross then they are clearly getting cheesed off with us. Maybe meet and discuss rather than ignoring and blocking. We aren't going away!
