My study with Hyowon (Hyo) Gweon & Megan Merrick is out! While infants usually look longer at unexpected than expected events, we show that this pattern can be reversed by emotion cues: Infants actually "expect the unexpected" following other people's surprise! doi.org/10.1162/opmi_a…
