I can’t wear my glasses with a mask and a shield over top of them both. It all fogs up instantly. So I naturally ditch the glasses. And now these head aches are wild. Almost as wild as teaching kinder in a pandemic without touching anything. Happy Wednesday.

My student told me he was annoyed of me.. but we can all imagine how annoyed I am of having to tell them all to put their masks on properly 50000 times a day

How can one have any patience left after teaching primary Monday - Friday then Friday and Saturday deal with drunk adults who act like children. Potentially worse.

Going on school breaks gives me anxiety. March break = the start of the full first shut down. Christmas break = the second. 🤯 I hate not knowing what’s happening in the long run

One of my students asked me yesterday why it’s “ we go in the car” but “ we get on the bus” ... and honestly it’s still bugging me lol.

Something about this lockdown is really grinding my gears.. clearly the other 4 lockdowns haven’t worked over here so I just don’t know why we are waiting for a new outcome when doing the same things didn’t work for us the last 500 times.. worse case Ontario is right.

Dream teacher appreciation week gift is: “ here is your vaccination” not “ all teachers can be vaccinated.” But then I go to sign up and I get “ too young. Please wait.” So now it’s cause I’m a young teacher.... but shouldn’t you want to vaccinate me so I can be able to teach??

All I know is that my current contract is up end of this year and I don’t know if I’ll be signing back up next year to teach if it’s anything like this year. And that sucks. #helpteachersteach
