LTN day 15 in Noel Park. One of the very worst days since that flooded Thursday. Traffic queuing past the primary school again and cars backed up well beyond the Morley Avenue tree and, at one point on Moselle Ave, all the way back to Darwin. Salisbury & Vincent Rds jammed too.

Apparently, caring about social inequality is now "disingenuous". Fuck's sake.

If there's one criticism of LTNs that's definitely valid, it's that they're horribly divisive. I really hope Haringey Council find a way, as a matter of some urgency, to demonstrate that they are listening to people's concerns and that they have a plan on how to fix the issues.

A piece of Alexandra Palace trivia: Ally Pally had its own indoor bowling green. This was apparently how it looked in 2014, some time after it had been abandoned. It may well still be there today. "No walking backwards."

Much as I love this stupid place, on days like this it's hard not to think that Wood Green is little more than an ever-growing collection of intensely ugly buildings crowding out the amazing ones.

Am I hearing this right, that the insane Southgate & Wood Green constituency has now been confirmed? To all those people who thought that keeping West Green with Tottenham was more important than keeping Wood Green in a Haringey constituency, I hope you're bloody satisfied. FFS.
