#ClimateChange drives conflict and conflict drives climate change. And the threats are growing. Devastating floods, famine & droughts already inflict misery on millions & threatening peace. As I told #COP28 Munich Security Conference, we must plan for the future and act, or risks only grow.

Addressing the ceremonial opening at #COP28 the #IPCC Chair Jim Skea stressed IPCC’s aspiration for the seventh cycle to make effective use of the best available science to deliver focused, policy-relevant reports in an inclusive fashion that represents all perspectives.
