Rally monkey didnt show up. Tough loss.

Another double header today. We’re off to Oak Bluff to play the 13UAAAWpgSouthChiefs. Games times are 12 & 3.

Game 1 starting lineup. Our lefty Nolan Drake will start on the hill, Allen is behind the plate.

Tough loss again this morning. Strachan, Couvier and Hillis all took a turn on the bump. Game 2 starts shortly.

Let’s try this again…..same batting order, Kaden Allen on the mound, Seth Sulik behind the plate.

Hutton came in in the 5th to relieve Allen. Score after 5 complete is 4-4.

Couldn’t hold on, not for a lack of effort! McNish was 2-2 with 3 runs scored, Hutton had 2 RBI’s. McGorman was showing off his arm Center and Drake got caught in a pickle. Final was 13-6. Thanks to Winnipeg South AAA Baseball for having us.

Snuck a practice in at the end of the long weekend. Big thank you to Beevs for coming out and going over pitching mechanics with the kids. A lot of great information.

Headed East to take on Pembina Hills at 12&3 today. Gonna be a warm one.

After 5 complete, score is 7-2 Midwest. McNish threw 5 strong striking out 15. Reichmuth’s 2 for 2 with 5 RBI. Beatty will go in in Relief.

Final score of game 1 was 8-4 Midwest. Beatty pitched the final 2 innings - faced 9 batters, allowed 1 earned run, with 5 hits with 5 K and hit a dinger if that wasn’t enough.

Gonna start game 2 early….it’s a little warm out today.

You know it’s hot out when your phone won’t let you post bc it overheated. After 4 complete innings the score is 6-0 Midwest. Allen is on the bump, with 8 K. McGorman, Allen and Beatty all went Yahtzee!

Drake gave up 4 in the 5th and McGorman fished it off. Final Score was 7-6.

What a great group! We had some fun, learned a few things…I hope. Won some, lost some, overall a great experience. Thanks to all the parents, volunteers, opposing teams for fitting us in their schedule and especially the coaches. #Midwest #ItAllStartsWithAttitude
