Advice: "Do everything you can, work as hard as you can, but remember to relax at times & have fun with friends."

#Classof2020: Russell S. will attend JMU for Psych. Fave thing abt MA: people & memories he made w/ them. Advice: "Don't take things too seriously & make sure you have fun, otherwise your 18th b-day will come & you may realize you never got to be a kid before becoming an adult."

#Classof2020: Charlotte Z. will attend University of St Andrews for Int'l Relations & Management. Faves abt MA: friends & relationships w/ teachers. Advice: "Work hard but get involved w/ sports clubs, etc. Enjoy time with friends since when it comes to it, that's what's most important."

#Classof2020: Presley O. will attend Shenandoah University for Criminology. Fave thing abt MA: students "because they are all so friendly." Advice to other students: if at first you feel like you aren't settling in (especially as a transfer), hang in there: "It gets better from there."

#Classof2020: Oliver M. will study Engineering UVA. Fave things abt MA: the community & friendships. Advice: "Pursuing the things that you love doing is the most important lesson I learned in high school. Life is full of challenges & opportunities; don't waste any moment of it."

#Classof2020: Max M. is headed to JMU for their Integrated Sciences and Technology (ISAT) major w/ the goal of becoming a manufacturing engineer. Fave thing abt MA: our rituals. His words of advice are: "Participate in everything or you'll miss out on incredible opportunities!"

#Classof2020: Demarcus S. will attend USMMA Official & is leaning towards a math or engineering major. Fave things about MA: basketball, hands-on learning & round table discussions. Advice: "Middleburg Academy is what you make of it, so go and try everything and be open to new things!"

#Classof2020 Bradley B. will attend Virginia Tech and study Aerospace Engineering. Bradley says about Middleburg Academy, "I can't believe it's over. It just goes by so fast, so seize every single day, every single moment, and I promise that you will have the time of your life."

#Classof2020: Amelia B. will attend VCU for Illustration or Animation. Faves abt MA: how close everyone is & friendships. Advice: "try new things & enjoy life. You only go to high school once so it's important to have a nice balance of fun/work & experience things w/o regrets."

#Classof2020: Jade R. is headed to Wilmington University to study Criminal Justice w/ specialty in Crime Scene Investigation & will also play basketball. Fave things abt MA: friendships & lessons she's learned. Advice: "Be open minded. The best friendships I made were the least expected ones."

#Classof2020: Kwaku A. will attend Newman University and study Business Administration. His favorite things about Middleburg Academy include playing basketball for the school and the friendships he made. Kwaku's words of advice are: "High school goes by fast, so enjoy every moment of it!"

#Classof2020: Caroline H. will attend SMU & plans to major in Business. Her favorite things about MA are the friendships she's made with both students & faculty. Advice: "Take advantage of the opportunities you're given, but make sure you set enough time aside for your friends."

#Classof2020: Beverly A. is headed to Randolph College to pursue Sport & Exercise Studies. Her fave thing about MA has been the girls' lacrosse team, including the people she got to play with. Beverly's advice to younger students is to "take every opportunity the school offers!"

#Geometry students made kites, which are a geometric shape with 2 sets of congruent sides & perpendicular diagonals. Students reported on how well the kites flew. Kites needed to be made out of household materials, such as plastic bags or paper. Here's Naida's aluminum foil kite.
