The Birmingham National Invitational Tournament (NIT)will happen again in November at the Country Club of Birmingham……..a Donald Ross gem founded in 1898 with over a century of championship golf history. A perfect stage for the best in mid-am golf.

Let’s talk a bit more about the NIT. The event is a 54-hole stroke play tournament with a history dating back to the early 1900s. The list of champions is impressive, including Bobby Jones who not only played in the event but won it multiple times.

Otey’s Tavern next to the Country Club of Birmingham will be where you can find half the NIT field post round this weekend. A real ball knowers type place. Styro cups and SEC vibes only.
