A2: relationships with the students are important, but when it comes to instinctual/genesis of behavior, I think the child’s parent/caregiver’s input is huge! They know that child better than anyone and establishing that relationship is just as important #mpcschat

A3: trauma informed teaching...the teacher needs to be made aware of any known issues the child may be facing, receive appropriate/educated practices, strategies, and seek support when needed. Provide a safe space! #mpcschat

A2: I just sought help from peers and my parents to help me learn the material, but it was a struggle in class when new material was presented. #mpcschat

Q4: keep the parents updated with the math concepts being taught in class. Encourage communication with families to reach out and share if their child is struggling. #mpcschat
