A1: I don't juggle. Juggling requires many things I don't have as a woman. Ex: it requires everything I'm juggling be the same size/weight. This isn't real life. Instead, I live according to my PRIORITIES. These last 2 yrs have been a great lesson in priorities. #womenscareerchat

A2: Don't focus on "balance," bc it's unsustainable. Instead, know ur priorities & live accordingly. There's no joy in constantly balancing. Dive DEEP into what brings you joy. Throw yourself into the things that matter most. Say NO more often, without apology. #womenscareerchat

A4: This is sort of out of my wheelhouse, but for ANY career, I'd advise women to 1) Aim HIGH, because that is your birthright and you know it! and 2) Go in and do it your own way. Don't conform to the mediocre majority. There's nothing there for you. #womenscareerchat

A5: Easy: Cheer them on. Celebrate them. Talk GOOD about them behind their back. And offer a hand when they stumble and fall, as we ALL do. Women aren't fragile. We're strong, able and determined. Just don't get in our way! #womenscareerchat

A6: It offers more opportunities for women to TRULY manage their own careers, as #selfbossers #WomeninBusiness can say who, when & how much. This is TRUE freedom. So, run with it. Gigs & clients are JUST as legitimate as job offers, and often far more lucrative. #womenscareerchat

A7: The tech changes, but not the "rules:" Collaborate with others you trust in three primary ways: 1) Their INTEGRITY (they do what they say!) 2) their ABILITY (they CAN do what they promise.) and 3) their PRIORITY. (they're making your project a priority.) #womenscareerchat

A8: Go in like you INTEND to lead. No waiting around for permission or invitation. No proving yourself. Walk in like you own the joint. And then, do the work. #womenscareerchat

Be very clear in what u want & accept nothing less. Create workarounds if/when u must. Stay the course & do not give in to the “devils” of discouragement, distraction or disappointment. These are just part of the game. So recognize, then remedy them. Stay true to you.
