I’m still processing this. As a Non-US IMG (🇨🇦), I can’t even put into words what this means. I’m excited to train at this amazing program and meet all these cool people!!

#IMGs are a major component of US health system & a backbone of workforce in many underserved, rural & safety-net hospitals. Many are super-talented & only need the right environment to realize their full potential & be leaders as can be seen everywhere once they become faculty!

This is not to say this journey was easy, but nothing’s impossible. You have to first believe in yourself when all odds are against you💯
