Consciousness of the universe or Virata Purusha remains constant, the tiny dots are conscious beings, they live and die, but the consciousness of the universe remains intact.

I’ve contemplated this whilst flying into Los Angeles or any city where nature has been shunted hundreds, thousands of miles out. My question/worry “Is this sustainable in nature”? “How is this changing the trajectory of man”? But then the next thought is “Man is nature too”.
