2.13AM: Bride and Phillips abandon Marconi Room. Bride helps to push Collapsible B, Titanic's last boat off the roof of the officer's quarters. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.14AM: Smith to Andrews: “We cannot stay any longer. She is going!” #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.14AM: The ship takes a sudden lurch. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.15AM: Chief Baker Joughin hears “a kind of crash as if something buckled...it was like as if the iron was parting” #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.16AM: Joughin now follows a large crowd of people desperately rushing to get onto the Poop deck, screaming and yelling as the stern rises. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.16AM: Boats Collapsibles A and B are swept off the boat deck as people desperately scramble to get into them. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.16AM: Passengers and crew frantically cut the falls to free Collapsible A from Titanic's grasp. Collapsible B has overturned completely, people fighting to clamber on top of it. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.17AM: Titanic's lights go out. Those left on board are left in darkness, shouting and screaming over the groaning sounds of the dying ship. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.17AM: Passenger Rhoda Abbot clings to her son Eugene as they are pulled under the water. When she resurfaces, her son is gone. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.18AM: Titanic begins to break apart just behind her third funnel. The stern settles back to an almost even keel. Before swinging back up “clear out of the water” as people cling on for their lives. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.19AM: George Symons in Boat #1 sees the Stern rise once again accompanied by a “sound like steady thunder”. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.19AM: For a few moments, Titanic's stern hangs in the air as if fighting off the inevitable. Not completely vertical but it must have felt like it if you were clinging for your life. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.20AM: Finally,Titanic's stern gives way and sinks quickly into the water, taking so many lives her. #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.20AM: Officer Pitman takes out his watch and announces “It is 2.20” #Titanic114 #Titanic

2.21AM: Gradually, the eerie silence Titanic leaves in her wake is punctured by the growing cries and screams of those in the freezing water. #Titanic114 #Titanic
