OpenAI's leaders, employees, and code are all about to migrate to Microsoft. Strenuous efforts enable them to remain working for a nonprofit instead. New York Times reaction: "A.I. Belongs to the Capitalists Now."

OpenVoice was just released! 🤯 Given a short audio clip, it clones the reference voice and can generate speech in multiple languages, while having control over emotion, accent, rhythm, pauses, and intonation! Code & details below ⬇️⬇️

As slop floods the Internet and as humans start relying on generative AI more and more, it's inevitable that future models will be mostly trained on slop (except for verifiable reasoning tasks where the training will be done in sims). Culture will turn into slop remixed from slop

To solve any problem, you don't have to be super smart. You just have to 1) be able to break down problems into subproblems, 2) be slightly smarter than the hardest of the atomic subproblems. The real challenge is that the process can take a very long time.

Prediction: LLMs in their current form may not be able to do everything, but AI now has enough momentum that this won't matter. Beam engines couldn't do everything either, but they were enough to set off the Industrial Revolution.

Massive OCR/VLM wave this week, models like DeepSeek-OCR, PaddleOCR-VL & Qwen3-VL show how multimodal architectures are optimizing document intelligence pipelines. The next frontier: fusing OCR with LLMs for context-aware data extraction across enterprise workflows. #AI #OCR
