Not to wish the weekend away but roll on Monday when we will be announcing our first pair of Strictly Stars! I’ve heard some teachers are making a comeback…

Let’s get the (disco) ball rolling! 🪩 Strictly MGS 2023 sees the return of… Mr Smeaton and Ms Allan! Rumour has it they’ve been practicing everyday since narrowly missing the crown in 2019…

Our next couple putting on their dancing shoes are… Miss Scott and Mr Lee! Both are first time contenders in Strictly MGS but have their eyes firmly on the prize 🏆 I’ve heard they have great chemistry 🧪 and have been cooking up a storm in rehearsals 🧑‍🍳

In attempt to retain the 👑 Miss Holmes has dumped her former dancing partner and recruited a newer model🕺🏼Mr Jordan is excited to make his debut and vows to put on the performance of a lifetime! Mr Scott couldn’t be reached for comment but is said to be enjoying his retirement.

Tickets for Strictly MGS are available to purchase NOW on schoolpay! Tickets are £3 for concessions and £5 for adults. Get yours fast, our last event was a sell out! 🎟️ Proceeds will be going to house charities and the school fund 💙

And last but not least are Mr Michie and Mrs Craig! Many claim the pair were “robbed” of the 2019 glitterball following a moving perfomance of High School Musical’s “Breaking Free”. Do they have what it takes this time around? Find out on Thursday the 9th of February! 🩰

A total of £1191.41 was raised last night at Strictly MGS. Totally blown away by the support of our wonderful school community 💙 This will be split evenly amongst the three house charities with a proportion going to the school fund. ❤️💚💛 Cancer Research UK The Brain Tumour Charity MS Society UK
