The “critics say” thing is the last refuge of both-sidesism, and both-sidesism is not reporting. Just gesturing at two utterances is a supplicative dance. stopthepresses.news/p/news-outlets…

NPR's lawsuit against Trump is important because it not only takes a stand against Trump's political retaliation but also opposes presidential overreach. politicususa.com/p/here-is-why-…

The Trump admin baselessly declared that this man is a dangerous gang member and sent him to rot in hell in a prison in El Salvador. Now they are trying to make it so this injustice can never be reversed. Truly evil stuff.

ICE agents were waiting outside the immigration court to arrest Dylan - a Bronx high school student with no criminal record. This was an ambush. The Trump Admin is undermining due process to meet their enforcement quotas. Bring Dylan home now.

SecState Rubio claims that no on has died because of USAID cuts and suggested that I had lied in my reporting. So here I show him photos of specific children who have died because of the Trump administration's reckless cancelation of aid: nytimes.com/2025/05/31/opi…

The Trump regime abducted a Massachusetts high school honors student on his way to volleyball practice who's lived here since he was 5 years old. He's now in a crowded cell with chains around his wrists and ankles - but no one knows where, even the local police.

Darren Beattie - the State Dept official who dismantled the US government's main center for fighting Russian and Chinese propaganda around the world - turns out to have personal ties to the Russian elite. telegraph.co.uk/us/news/2025/0…

Awful: News orgs are credulously amplifying the idea that sending troops into LA is good politics for Trump. This gives his lawless abuses of power the aura of conventional politics, obscuring how extraordinarily dangerous this moment truly is. 1/ (link) newrepublic.com/article/196674…

Insane story. ICE essentially spying on traffic stops to nab a 19 year old college student who was brought to the US as a 7 year old - against Colorado law that prevents this. coloradosun.com/2025/06/17/uta…

Just this term, Donald Trump has visited his own properties 88 times. Every visit costs taxpayers millions. And 51 of those were trips to his golf courses. citizensforethics.org/reports-invest…

Tillis essentially said that voters are being misled about what's in the Trump agenda bill. And there IS ample evidence of that misinfo campaign — just check Daniel Dale's feed

This is correct. We know from past experience with state work requirements for Medicaid that this is how they save money: they create a lot of red tape, and then boot eligible people off the rolls for not navigating it correctly.
