Though much of this response is just self-preservation & saving the world - still a nice feeling to have most everyone on the planet on the same page for once. Can we now realize that we are all just fellow travellers that deserve peace love & liberty & really work to that end?

Community partners help drive vaccines 🙌💉🦠 Observant folks at restaurants, casinos & many locations noticing people having 2 doses then sending them to walk-in clinics & pharmacies to get their dose 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #VaccinesWork #StrongerTogether Southwestern Public Health MLHealthUnit

My heart is breaking a bit today. I wish our government could do simple things to keep our little people, our vulnerable people, our marginalized people safe. I am hopeful our *citizens* will though. Canadians overwhelmingly support public health measures to manage COVID. 12/n

Be kind. Be moderate in your activity. Be transparent about what you do. And live with COVID awareness (don’t pretend it doesn’t exist and you don’t impact others), at least til we are further past this. 7/7

I believe this pandemic has largely helped to teach people about privilege. Most of us are privileged enough that we don’t wake up daily with an immune issue that has us scared to death to do anything.Checking that privilege & recognizing their fear has been accomplished by most.

I’ve been inundated with questions on whether people under 60 should get a booster now, or wait until Fall for the bivalent ones. If there is anything I’ve learned from the pandemic, it is that you simply can’t plan anything that is even a few months out. My thoughts: 🧵1/6

EN GUARD FOR THEE Eleanor Harvey makes history for Canada by winning the first-ever fencing medal at the Olympics. It’s a bronze. And her look of disbelief when she won it was as real and raw as it gets. Outstanding. cbc.ca/sports/olympic…
