Hydrophobicity scales came up in todays #CECAMIDP meeting (and will come up again tomorrow in Giulio Tesei's talk). For those that have e.g. used the Kyte & Doolittle scale, but not read the paper, I suggest you look at some of the decisions made when coming up with this scale.

So... we made some big updates to our disorder predictor metapredict. We wanted to document those changes in a way that non-computational folks might read (i.e. not a changelog buried in a repo), so we've put out a 'preprint' describing these changes. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
