🇬🇧 is proud to partner with USAID Somalia to support vulnerable communities in 🇸🇴.   The additional $2million funding from 🇺🇸 is exactly the early action we need to help thousands of families currently affected by the drought, which threatens a famine next year.

Baardheere is one of the areas worst hit by #droughtinSomalia. 1000s of newly displaced people are hungry, malnourished & in critically urgent need of humanitarian support. World Food Programme and other UN in Somalia agencies are operating in Baardheere - but funding & time are running out.

Malaasle village is one of the worst-hit areas by #droughtinSomalia. All its 48 berkards have dried up leaving residents in dire need of water. With support from Somalia Humanitarian Fund, we’re providing clean water for the next two months, but this will not be enough! #Timetoactisnow
