It's been a great, manic week with tasters, open evening and shadowing! It was great to catch up with Team North from HQ in Manchester this week and I've spent my lunch time over at Cronton College for their Freshers Fair to promote Scouting! Have a great weekend!

Our Final Taster Session at 4th Widnes last night! Musical themed, make your own instrument, have a go on the guitar followed by a Marching Band! So much fun! Great work by the volunteering team, it's been great getting to know the Young People & Adults too!

I recently attended the Mersey Weaver AGM and spoke about the UCF Project and Growth opportunities. It was a pleasure to catch up with familiar faces and to meet new faces from the Mersey Weaver District. I am so excited to support Mersey Weaver with their Growth ambitions!

6th Runcorn launched their new Squirrel Drey last night! Everyone had a great time celebrating, a group investiture, campfire biscuits and storytime! Amazing what you can squeeze into an hour!Well done to 6th Runcorn, you've done amazing & making a huge difference locally!

It's Official! 4th Widnes (St Bede's) have launched their Squirrel Drey, the first in Widnes! We have all had a great time celebrating and learning about our Promise ready for our Group Investiture in a couple of weeks! #skillsforlife #scouts #squirrels

1st Weston & Weston Point held their 3rd Taster Session last night, we have gone from 4 Squirrels to 16 in just 2 weeks! Amazing growth in Young People. We love seeing Young People having fun and learning at the same time, making new friends and trying something out that's new!

1st Halton Scout Group held their 2nd Squirrel Taster Session last night! It was a delight to meet our latest Squirrels in Mersey Weaver! We had a busy evening filled with a treausre hunt, games, a story and some dancing! We look forward to seeing you again next week!

1st Halton held their 3rd Squirrel Taster Session last night, lots of fun was had, as well as learning new games and using team work! Our final taster session is next with an Adult Talk to share about what goes on at Scouts after Squirrels & how adults can get involved in fun!

Water fights for the Squirrels at 1st Halton's Taster Sessions last night, a much needed relief for everyone. The future of Squirrels at 1st Halton is looking bright and we will be in touch with existing parents about our next steps in launching soon :)
