Is there a deteriation of Driving standards and punishments in #F1? In 1989 Martin Brundle OBE got a 10 sec penalty for cutting the chicane at German GP (licence point penalties were introduced in 2014). In 2025 Max Verstappen gets 10 sec for deliberately crashing into

Brazil 2019, we saw him physically attacked Ocon and nothing was done about it. Yโ€™all created a monster that you cant control, solely because you wanted to put Lewis in his place.

Formula 1 Iโ€™ll keep saying it. He weaponized his car for almost all of 2021 and FIA never flinched. FIA should have DQ him from the race and given him a race ban. Others have been DQed for far less than trying to harm another driver with their car. He keeps getting off easy.

Itโ€™s insane how people are trying to normalise using a car as a weapon. Itโ€™s extremely RARE in F1. The only occasions I can recall are. Senna in Japan 1990 Schumacher in 1994 and 97 Maldonado in Spa 2011 and Monaco 2012 Vettel in Baku 2017 Remember Ticktum was banned for years

โ€œโ€ฆat the end of the day, whether you're a fan or not, Lewis Hamilton is the greatest racing driver we've ever seen. Statistically, he is the greatest. I think he's the greatest even without the stats." SPEAK FACTS LOUDER ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

So KKR abandoned their Thames Water deal after secret talks with someone in No10. I'd like to know exactly who was involved in those 'talks' and precisely what was discussed. In the meantime I putting together a bid to buy TW, it's now worthless so I'll start with a ยฃ5.

Hearing Tories bang on about stopping the boats, when all they had to do was accept Franceโ€™s offer of a processing centre. Wouldโ€™ve saved ยฃ700m to Rwanda, ยฃBs on useless barges & ยฃBs on peer hotel contracts. But then why do the sensible thing when you can grift ยฃยฃยฃ for your mates

#F1XED Sky Sports F1 FIA F1WDC2021 Andrew E David Formula 1 FIA @f1 BBCF1 @theathletic The sport has too long forgiven sins of great drivers - Senna, Schumacher, Alonso, Verstappen were each brutally dishonest and broke the cornerstone of safe and fair racing. Still great drivers, just dishonest when they needed to be.

@FIA @f1 BBCF1 @skysportsf1 @theathletic Senna, Schumacher, Alonso, Verstappen...All pulled dirty moves for which they were never properly punished. Nobody's perfect but no one gets better if the poor behaviors are not properly penalized.

#F1XED Martin Brundle OBE Lewis Hamilton F1WDC2021 David Sir Archie Bradley Michael Johnson Patrick Doherty @FIA Formula 1 @skysportsf1 Senna, Schumacher, Alonso and Verstappen all have awards in the cabinet that were won by smashing the 'Fairness' cornerstone. The sport ought to take a good look at their commitment to fairness, esp. in championship contests.

Public ownership โ€˜not the answerโ€™ says Minister as Thames Water teeters. 36 yrs of market solutions - sewage in rivers, unplugged leaks, customers fleeced. Govt dithers. TW adds ยฃ3bn to debt, spends ยฃ200m a year on advisers. Need public ownership now. independent.co.uk/news/business/โ€ฆ

Andrew Benson Why wasn't Max Verstappen disqualified for a clear and obvious deliberate road rage incident? Moreover, why isn't Max being held to account by the press for his childish and petulant behaviour in the media pen afterwards?

Autosport Stuart Codling Pathetic official #F1 media. Pushing a narrative that exonerate Max Deliberate - not 'deliberate-looking' Nobody but Max drove the car. It was his decision. He bears sole responsibility

Motorsport.com Fans have been talking about this for years. Glad that some in the motorsports media are waking up instead of excusing and enabling him. If only the FIA would, too...
