Merfolk is solidly tier 1 right now, according to mtgdecks.net/modern! We're currently sitting at 8th place in the format, with 2.89% meta share (looking at the past 30 days). The last time Merfolk was tier 1 was in 2016!

2nd 5-0 w/ the new Merfolk cards! This league had far more diverse opponents. Pilgrimage was insane! And Dockhand was tapping lands constantly! Previous league was 4-1. The list feels very balanced. Sideboard will be tweaked as the meta settles. Let me know your questions!

How do people feel about the book with a plain cover? See super-quick mock-up attached. I figured I just had to get the artist to sign off, but they told me WOTC holds the copyright. Dealing with WOTC legal would be a nightmare, so a simple cover might be the best option.
